My soap making business began when I tried to find a mild natural soap that would moisturize my skin rather than dry it out. I was looking for a soap made with one hundred percent natural plant-based ingredients and enriched with emollients.

In 2009, I decided to make my own soap. I discovered that even the mildest of soaps was made of petrochemicals rather than natural ingredients. I researched the sources of natural ingredients, from the lye and oils that would serve as the basis for soap to the essential oils that would provide the scents. I realized that most people don’t understand the difference between essential oils derived from actual plants and manufactured synthetic fragrances.

In searching the Web, I soon realized that, although there are a number of soap makers listed, there are only perhaps 5% that really use nothing but all-natural ingredients. While there’s nothing wrong with using chemicals to make soap, it has been important to me from the beginning that my soap is made completely of natural plant-based ingredients.

I wanted to expand my line into all natural lotions, butters, bath salts, emulsified body polishes, and my latest love is Essential Oil Perfumes that are 100% free of alcohol.

My passion to improve my health has lead me to taking care of my first line of defense “My Skin”. Our skin is the largest organ and what we put on it does penetrate into our body and can be stored either in our adipose tissue or our already over taxed liver to filter out all the impurities that are circulating inside us.

My soaps are biodegradable. They include no preservatives, no artificial colorants, and no artificial perfumes. My products are Paraben-free, formaldehyde-free, Phthalate-free. Also, I use Phthalate-free packaging for lotions and butters, & absolutely No animal testing.

What does this mean for you? Peace of mind knowing harmful ingredients are left out and no leaching of Phthalates or PCB’s in your products!! I offer a wide variety of Vegan Friendly Choices in my product categories. If there is something you would like for me to carry just email me and we can discuss adding the product.
