Allspice: Warm clove like sweet spicy fragrance.

Angelica: Base to Middle Note. Sharp, similar to the scent of green stems just broken

Anise: Middle note. The smell of licorice. Warm and Sweet

Basil: Top to middle note. Sweet, spicy, warm and fiery. Somewhat licorice like.

Bergamot: Top note. Fresh, sweet and refreshing, but with slightly spicy floral undertones.

Black Pepper: Middle note. Pungent, spicy, warm, herbaceous peppery aroma

Calendula: Herbaceous, pungent, and strong.

Cardamom: Top to Middle Note. Warm, spicy, yet somewhat sweet

Carnation Absolute: Middle note. Rich, floral and spicy aroma

Cassia: Base note. Spicy cinnamon aroma, pungent warm smell.

Cedarwood: Base note. Soft, sweet, warm, woody and fruity with honey overtones.

Chamomile Roman: Top to Middle note. Sweet, herbaceous, fresh and fruity.

Cinnamon: Middle note. A sweet, spicy hot fragrance. The aroma is smoky and warm.

Citronella: Top note. Grassy, fruity, and slightly herbaceous with a citrus undertone.

Clary Sage: Middle note. Nutty, heady, herbaceous, warm and mildly intoxicating.

Clove Bud: Middle note. Spicy, warm, sweet with a fresh top note

Cypress: Middle note. Fresh, woody, clear, light, slightly spicy with a clean scent.

Elemi: Middle note. Light, spicy-balsamic, lemony aroma

Eucalyptus: Top note. Pungent, sharp, strong and camphor-like with woody sub-notes.

Everlasting: Middle to Base note. Strong, honey and hay odor with herbaceous notes.

Fennel: Middle to top note. Herbaceous, sweet honey, very licorice-like, and warm.

Fir Balsam: Middle note. A softly balsamic, sweet, fresh aroma that is both grounding and elevating

Frankincense: Base note. Soft, balsamic, heady fragrance, warm, sweet and incense like.

Geranium: Base to Middle note. Flowery rose, sweet, dry citrus undertone.

Ginger Lily: Middle to top note. Peppery, sharp, fresh, pungent, earthy aromatic and warm.

Grapefruit: Top note. Warm, sweet and fresh citrus with slight floral undertone.

Hyssop Decumbens: Middle note. Woody, earthy, sweet and warm.

Helichrysum italicum: Middle note. Herbaceous, honeyed, sweet hay aroma with a smoky musk-tobacco undertone

Jasmine Sambac: Middle note. Rich, warm, floral, and sweetly exotic with floral honey like aroma.

Juniper: Middle note. Fresh, fruity, woody, spicy and herbaceous.

Labdanum: Base note. Sweet, warming, evocative, amber-like scent

Lavender: Middle to top note. Fresh, floral, light, powdery, and sweet.

Lemon: Top note. The most well known citrus scent, clean, sweet, sugary and light.

Lemongrass: Middle to top note. Citrus, herbaceous and smoky. Kind of like a hay field type aroma.

Lime: Top note. Fresh, citrus scent, sweet and zesty.

Mandarin: Top note. Warm, citrus, and fruity with floral overtones.

Mimosa: Middle note. Powdery soft honey floral aroma

Myrrh: Middle note. Warm, smoky, slightly musty and earthy.

Neroli: Middle to top note. Floral, powdery, spicy, and sweet with highly radiant fragrance.

Nutmeg: Middle note. Sweet, warm spicy odor

Oakmoss Absolute: Base note. Earthy, mossy character, alluring, exotic odor

Orange, Sweet: Middle to top note. Fresh, fruity, tangy and sweet. An uplifting scent.

Palmarosa: Top note. Sweet, rosy, floral, herbaceous and lemony.

Patchouli: Base note. Earthy, heavy, musty musk, penetrating, herbaceous, and smoky.

Peppermint: Top note. Minty fresh, slightly camphor-like, candy-like.

Petitgrain: Middle note. Floral, fresh and revitalizing with a hint of orange.

Ravensara: Top note. Spicy, herbaceous, clear, sweet and licorice-like.

Rosemary: Middle note. Woody, fresh, herbaceous, powerful and sharp.

Rosewood: Middle note. Sweet, woody, powdery soft with an underlying rose scent.

Sandalwood: Base note. Warm, rich, sweet, woody and soft.

Spearmint: Top note. Minty, cool, candy-like and fresh.

Tangerine: Top note. Sweet, sparkling fresh citrus.

Tuberose Absolute: Middle to base note. Warm, very sweet, “plump” and most intoxicating floral aroma with peach leaf and soft spice-like background notes.

Tea Tree: Top note. Sharp, spicy, warm with medicinal tones.

Vanilla: Base note. Sweet, honey-like, distinctive. Scent said to be most like mother’s milk.

Vetiver: Base note. Earthy, musty with softness and full body aroma, and sweet woody aroma.

Ylang Ylang II: Middle note. Sweet, intense, floral, tropical and heady with an overtone of banana.
